This panel will bring together leadership from the West Coast Ocean Alliance, Gulf of America Alliance, Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean, and Northeast Regional Ocean Council to share progress, highlight innovative projects, and demonstrate how place-based collaboration is making a difference across U.S. ocean regions. Also joining the panel is the Regional Wildlife Science Collaborative (RWSC), a collaborative born of East Coast regional partnerships that serves as a hub for coordinated marine wildlife and habitat science across U.S. Atlantic waters.
Panelists will share highlights from their regions, including West Coast Ocean Alliance’s work to support more effective Tribal government partnerships, the Gulf of America Alliance’s and Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean’s efforts to strengthen coastal community resilience, and Northeast Regional Ocean Council and RWSC’s work to advance ocean data tools and planning resources that support smarter, more coordinated management. Regional Ocean Partnership activities linked to NERR and NEP programs will also be highlighted in relevant regions.
The 2026 Coastal & Estuarine Summit is hosted by Restore America’s Estuaries and will take place from September 22-25, 2026, in San Francisco, California.
